2010 has brought strong achievement for Amanda Starrantino, 18, not only passing her final senior gold test with the United States Figure Skating Assn. on January 26 officially ranking her as a professional figure skater, but on August 8, the Simi Valley woman was crowned Miss Teen California. Starrantino says she is pursuing a career in broadcast television, will compete for Miss Teen USA and jokingly says will be the future wife of colleague and friend Evan Lysacek, Olympic figure skating gold medalist.
