Sea To Shore Adventure

John Ryan, 41, right, of Ventura, heads into the ocean at the same time as Kevin Lorch, left of Camarillo and his sister Eric Collom, of Berkeley. All were competing in the Fifth Annual City of Ventura Sea To Shore Adventure Race. The siblings placed first while Ryan and his partner Dina Karathamas came in third in the co-ed division. The event was held Saturday at San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura.
