Hammerseley came into the public eye in 2013 when her mother put a sign in Hazel’s hospital window saying “Send Pizza Room #4112” resulting in a plethora of pizzas sent by passersby. Hammersley’s neuroblastoma resurfaced in November, 2016 after being in remission.
