Ventura Farms Hemp Harvest, 2019

Lucio Santana, of Oxnard, leans on a forest harvester in his third day training as its driver. A glitch on the bailer has backed up the hemp harvest keeping the vehicle idle at Ventura Farms on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Camarillo, CA. The 200 acres of hemp, according to Josh Rubin, VP of Farming for Canopy Growth USA, will yield approximately $16k per acre at the harvesting stage of processing hemp strictly for CBD oil.
